Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure provides Motorbike Enhancement classes for beginners as well as advanced riders.

From off-roading lessons to city road riding we guide you to safety rides, with an experience of covering thousands of km’s riding throughout India. Vintage Motorcycle Coaching Classes will help you become better, stronger, and a much more confident rider.

Module 1: Basic riding achievement

• Introduction to Royal Enfield (or other bike available on request) & its components
• Basic Engine skills – How it all works
• Control of the bike – Maneuvering the bike without Engine “On”
• Starting the bike – Kick & Electric.
• Gear Changing – Neutral to First and First to neutral
• Low speed riding – on first gear

Exercise 101: (2 hrs)

• Know your motorbike
• Traffic Rules
• Rules of conduct while on the road
• Detailed explanation of clutch, breaks, accelerator, lights, indicators, chokers, decompressor
• Starting the Royal Enfield motorbike
• Start Point A – Point B Stop [1st gear – 10 times]
• Start Point B – Point A Stop [1st gear – 10 times]
• Turn around cones with feet on the ground
• Exercise is finished when method has been perfected.

Exercise 102: (2 hrs)

• Start Point A – Point B Stop [1st or 2nd gear – 10 times]
• Start Point B – Point A Stop [1st or 2nd gear – 10 times]
• Turn around cones without touching the ground (Switch gears)
• Gain control of the bike – back and front exercises (05 times)
• Make an eight around two cones ( 05 times)

Exercise 103: (2 hrs)

• Start Snake Pattern riding Point A – Point B Stop (1st gear) – (5times)
• Start Straight Line Point B – Point A Stop (1st / 2nd gear combo)
• Start Snake Pattern Point A – Point B Stop (1st gear) - (5times)
• Start Straight Line Point B – Point A Stop (1st / 2nd gear combo)
• Bike Balance and movement

Himalayan Motorcylce Adventure Club provides Mechanical Training on the Enfield for beginners as well as advanced riders.

From servicing and maintenance lessons to emergency repair sessions we provide it all, with an experience of covering thousands of km’s riding through India. Himalayan Motorcylce Adventure Mechanical Classes will help you become better, stronger, and an expert in the mechanics of the Royal Enfield.

Module 1: Servicing and Maintenance

Maintenance is not only a crucial part of motorcycle ownership, but it can make the difference between safe riding and getting stranded– or even worse, taking a spill.

Introduction to Royal Enfield & its components

Exercise 101: (3 Hours)

• Checking and Changing the tyres. Brakes – Springs and lube check
• Checking and Changing the Engine Oil Checking and changing the filter.
• Checking the Electricals of the bike. ( Spark, Fuse, Ignition coil etc ) Cleaning the chain set.
• Lubing & replacement of Cables. (clutch cable, accelerator cable etc ) Changing air and oil filter.

Exercise 102: (3 Hours)

• Tyres – Wheel check, tube check, pressure check & replacement Changing brake pads & cables
• Brakes – Springs and lube check
• Chain and sprocket – Check up chain link and lube. Fuse – Replacement
• Checking and Recovering Electrical failiure.

If the client does the Mechanical Training on his/ her own bike our mechanic would check the bike thoroughly at the end of the Training and ensure the bike is in proper riding condition. In addition, a list of important tools and spares in case of emergency is handed over to the client.
